Today we learned about the font Helvetica; it is seen everywhere and used in countless company logos, such as AmericanAirlines, THE NORTH FACE, American Apparel, Microsoft, and Toyota. It has a clean, modern look that is created to be legible and readable to the passerby. Helvetica is a widely used sans-serif typeface developed in 1957 by Swiss typeface designer Max Miedinger with the help of Eduard Hoffmann. |
